The first time you burn your candle, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the vessel to prevent tunneling.

Keep your candle out of reach of pets and children. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Trim your wick to ¼ inch before every lighting. This controls the size of the flame and prevents unnecessary soot. Keep the wax pool free of trimmings, matches or other debris.

Keep your candle away from wind caused by open windows, fans or high traffic areas. Drafts decrease burn time and cause uneven melting and smoke.

Extiguish your candle if it smokes, flickers or has a large flame. Trim the wick to ¼ inch and light again.
Stop burning your candle when the wax in the bottom of your vessel is ¼ inch or less.
